Just two days after Christmas the iPhone developer pod2g released the much awaited untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1. This jailbreak, however, wasn't compatible with the new A5 processors and thus there was no jailbreak for iPhone 4S and the iPad 2. For all of you waiting for the A5 untethered jailbreak you will be glad to know that in a recent tweet, pod2g, gave out some amazing news to the Apple community. He tweeted that he's been working on an untethered jailbreak for A5 devices and expects a public release as soon as next week.
