It seems that 2012 may not have started in Apple's favor as the ITC issued an initial ruling that pretty much ruled in Motorola's favor. In the on-going patent war between Apple and Motorola (Samsung, HTC, etc), it would appear that the ITC feels that Motorola did not infringe upon three of Apple's smartphone patents. However it should be noted that this initial ruling is from an administrative law judge, and the six-person ITC panel could very well rule in the opposite direction. For those uninformed, Apple appears to have launched itself on a crusade against Android handset manufacturers.
